Contact/About
Welcome to In Strict Tempo Records. I started this shop as a way to build upon the success of the In Strict Tempo Substack, which I started writing back in 2023. I've been selling records for years, in record shops and as a distributor, and have always wanted my own record store... well now I have it.
In Strict Tempo stocks a highly curated selection of records & tapes, across a range of genres, but with a focus on music that is slightly outside of the norm. I don't want to be one of those shops that just stocks stuff they know will sell or is popular. There's enough places doing that online already. Everything you see here has been personally chosen by me, as something I think you'll like, and from time to time I'll make personal recommendations too.
We might not have the widest range, but we'll always to try our best to be competitive on price. Everything here has been chosen with thought, and will be handled and packaged with care. If you're not happy with something, let me know and we'll sort it out.
Ultimately, what I hope you'll find here is great, interesting music, and maybe your next new favourite record.
