Four Tet - Beautiful Rewind [Text]

SECOND HAND

Condition: VG+/VG+

Year: 2010

Has there ever been a period in time when Four Tet hasn't been utterly prolific? That was the case between 2010 and 2015, as he dropped five studio albums, and countless singles, remixes and other bits and bobs, including tracks with Burial, Thom Yorke and Boddika. Right in the middle of it came Beautiful Rewind, an album where his love of UK club music came even more to the fore. A tip of the hat to UKG, a nod to jungle, this album is firmly rooted in the dance, and sounds timeless in a way that many fail to emulate.

Tracks like Kool FM pay homage to the pirate radio pioneers of old, whilst setting the scene for the likes of Overmono to come through and become some of the UK's biggest dance acts.
