Cabaret Voltaire - Micro-Phonies [Mute]

Show me a band with as much influence on modern experimental electronic music as the Cabs and I'll stick my fingers in my ears and ignore you. Only joking, show me, please.

Micro-Phonies sounds as if someone in 2026 tried to make a pastiche of an 80's pop album, but these guys were doing it - for real! - back in 1984. Definitely the most 'accessible' of the Cabs work, and you know what? If it's good enough for Ferris Bueller, it's good enough for me.
