Emeralds - What Happened [Editions Mego]

SECOND HAND

Condition: VG+/VG+

Year: 2010

Nice double LP reissue of Emeralds live improvised recordings originally issued on CD by No Fun. The sound of a band experimenting, and shifting directions whilst all the while sounding like they're having fun playing what could easily be written off as QUITE SERIOUS MUSIC. I think with all this kind of stuff, a sense of playfulness is what separates the good from the great with drone music, and it's kind of a shame that not everyone sees it this way. This though, this is firmly in the great camp, and you can hear why.
