Higher Intelligence Agency & Biosphere - Birmingham Frequencies [Headphone]

Finally made available on vinyl this year, Biosphere & HIA's Birmingham Frequencies has been doing the rounds on CD since the turn of the Millennium. A follow up to Polar Frequencies, this work sees the duo draw on field recordings made in the UK's second city. Not usually a place associated with this wistful, shimmering ambience, for most people it's the city of Sabbath or Surgeon, but this album reframes the city as somewhere where beauty can hide too.

Remastered by Stefan Betke aka Pole, presented over 2 LPs in a gatefold sleeve.
