Mount Kimbie - Maybes [HOTFLUSH]

SECOND HAND

Condition: VG+/Generic

Year: 2009

It's really hard to overstate just how much fresh and exciting new stuff was coming out around this time, and at the forefront of it all was Mount Kimbie. For a while they threatened to become the biggest electronic group around, but for whatever reason it never quite happened. It can be quite hard to define a lot of this EP, but the low end, right down in the mix, I guess puts it broadly in that post-dubstep catch-all that a lot of this got caught up in. Whatever you want to call it, it's worth a listen and still holds up as a record that works in a number of situations today.

Please note this is the repress in the plain white sleeve.
