Romeo Poirier - Plage Arriere [Kit Records]

When this originally dropped on tape back in 2016 I couldn't get enough of it. I raved about to anyone and everyone who would listen, and was pleased to see it -in time- become a cult classic. It has that Drexciyan aquatic quality to it, but don't let that mislead you - there's not a kick-drum in sight: this is warped, looping ambient-ish sounding magic that will float your mind away. Repressed for it's tenth anniversary (has it really been that long?) this is an absolute must-have if you're into good music of any kind.
